Many added luxuries to make it comfortable and feel like you live in Galena! Main Floor: -Open seating/dining area with a full kitchen to prepare that cozy meal at the dining table. -Full bath -Deck with fire table, corner sectional, and grill. The deck can be shaded with a roll out awning above. -Kitchen: fully equipped, drip coffee maker, Keurig, cooking basics, dishwater & silverware, stainless steel appliances, blender, toaster, waffle maker, spices -Board games Upper Level: -Bedroom 1: 1 king -Bedroom 2: 1 queen -Bathrooms- half bathroom General: Central A/C & heating, linens and towels provided, washer/dryer Outside: -Yard games (Bocce ball, yard dice) -Back deck with fire table, seating, and grill -There are neighbors in this group of tiny cabins, but the back deck faces into the beautiful woods With plenty of coziness, comfort, and lived-in design, but also activities to choose from at Hygge Haus, enjoy this home base to all of the golfing, hiking, skiing, horseback riding, shopping, eating, and outdoor activities this area provides!

Other Details to Note

The house is located 1.5 miles (4 minutes) away from the Galena Territory Owner's Club that you have access to with 4 amenity cards provided. It has swimming, exercising, basketball/pickleball, and games, 4 championship golf courses within 5 minutes drive, 9 miles (13 minutes) to Galena, and 17 miles (25 minutes) to Chestnut Mountain Resort. The cabin will be supplied with a few staples to get you started. You will find 2 extra rolls of toilet paper supplied, hand soap at each sink, 1 roll paper towel in kitchen, plenty of garbage bags, dishwasher pods, kitchen towels, sponge, dishsoap and hand soap. For the coffee lovers, we supply a container of ground coffee and filters for the drip coffeemaker, and 10 Keurig pods. Well equipped kitchen. Newer washer and dryer with provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Our cleaning fees are directly passed on from our cleaners to our guests, we do our best to keep them as low as possible. Holidays are charged at double rate and last minute cleans (booking within a week) may be subject to extra cleaning fees. Pack your bags and nothing else should be needed!

House Rules

Additional rules 1. The Galena Territory has a dark night ordinance that prohibits outside lights from being on past 1 am. Please make sure that all outside lights are turned off when you retire for the night and when you check out. If guests do not follow the light or noise ordinance, we are charged by The Galena Territory and will pass on the charges to you. Depending on which of these, it can be $150-$500.  2. Proximity Cards: There is a $50 charge for lost or damaged proximity cards. 3. There is a double charge for cleaning if checkout occurs on a holiday (Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day) Pets: We are responsible pet owners and understand wanting to bring your pet! There is a charge for hosting your pet of $30 per animal/night that will be billed with your total stay. If you selected a pet, you were already charged $90. We have a few specific rules for pets. Please respond, "Yes, I agree to the pet policy," if you agree and wish to book. - Pet must have required shots, licenses and tags, including name tags. - Guest must provide bedding/crate for their pet for when they leave the property. One dog kennel is available at the home (suitable for dogs weighing 60 lbs or less). - If pets are going to be on the furniture or beds, please provide your own blanket to cover these items. - If you plan to leave, please make sure your pet is crated. - Guests must pick up after their pet and discard waste properly. Doggy bags or bag station is available for your convenience. - Guests are responsible for cleaning up any “accidents” their pet has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage. - County Leash Law: it is illegal for people to allow their dogs to run free. The ordinance requires that if a dog is off its owner’s premise, the dog must be on a leash. - Guests are required to pay for any damage their pet causes.

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing weekend at Andrea‘s place. The house was so adorable and well appointed. We enjoyed making meals together and watching the sunrise from the back windows and sunset from the front windows. The backdrop of the woods behind the house was also lovely. There were so many things to do close by and plenty of walking in the immediate area. Andrea’s place is also quite possibly the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We would like to return again someday and will also recommend her place to friends and family.

This house was perfect! Plenty of room for the four of us. Very clean and comfortable. Andrea was great at responding to any questions we had. The location was great! Outside of town with beautiful scenery but just a short drive to all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!!

Definitely would stay again if in Galena! Far away enough from the light pollution - amazing stars at night - with beautiful views. Cute little home, clean, and priced fairly. Host was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to use the electric fireplace. Thanks for a lovely time!

This cute bungalow was perfect for a weekend get away. Close to town but private and very quiet. Was well laid out and the home had plenty of thoughtful touches. Would stay here again happily!
